The drygear® Apiro® heavy-duty lifting gear is the reinforced version of the tried-and-tested Apiro® lifting gear and has been specially developed for applications requiring higher loads, greater stability and a precisely controlled lifting motion.

The Apiro lifting gear is used for lane adjustments, height adjustments or pusher applications, for example in the drinks or packaging industries. Unlike the Apiro rack and pinion gear, it can transmit significantly greater forces of up to 250 N. Synchronising multiple lifting gears is straightforward.

At igus®, Apiro® stands for cost-effective worm gearboxes and flexible, bespoke solutions. The modular gearbox system offers a wide product range based on a combination of various drive and output configurations, different gear ratios and a wide variety of accessories. In addition to worm gearboxes, bevel gearboxes and linear gearboxes are also available in the gearbox system.

A modular design and the simple connection of individual components allow for cost-effective solutions for an infinite number of applications. Hence the name: ‘Apiro’ is the Greek word for ‘infinite’.
